Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code. Defines "vehicle used for public transportation purposes" as a vehicle owned and operated by an interstate transportation authority, municipality, or other public or private entity to provide local transportation service within an interstate transportation district, municipality, or county, and includes busses, trains, and any other means of conveyance by any type of power, operated for public use in the conveyance of persons. Provides that a Section concerning passing a street car on the left also concerns passing other vehicles used for public transportation purposes. Provides that bicycles are subject to the Section concerning passing a street car or other vehicle used for transportation purposes on the left. Effective immediately.
