Bill Title: Amends the Medical Assistance Article of the Illinois Public Aid Code. Provides that due to the undue burden placed upon nonprofit organizations providing Medicaid behavioral health services to low-income, complex vulnerable populations, the Department of Healthcare and Family Services shall reimburse providers of Medicaid behavioral health services for the cost of increased staff exclusively dedicated to the sole purpose of pursuing Medicaid managed care claims improperly denied for services offered to Medicaid beneficiaries.
