Bill Title: Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that before the expiration of the conditional release of a person found not guilty by reason of insanity, the Department of Human Services shall conduct an assessment of the person's need for continuing treatment prior to the termination of his or her conditional release and shall arrange for mental health services for the person after the person's conditional release. Provides that the court may order an extension of the person's conditional release for a term as determined by the court based on the assessment (rather than 5 years).
