Bill Title: Amends the Emergency Telephone System Act, the Public Utilities Act, the Smoke Detector Act, and other Acts by replacing all references to "hearing impaired" with "deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind." Amends the Statutes in Statutes. Defines "deaf", "hard of hearing", and "deafblind." Provides that except where the context indicates otherwise, in any rule, contract, or other document a reference to the term "hearing impaired" shall be considered a reference to the term "deaf" or "hard of hearing". Effective immediately.
