Bill Title: Amends the Medical Practice Act of 1987. Provides that the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation may not refuse to renew, or take disciplinary action concerning, the license of any physician who continues prescribing previously prescribed medications to existing patients for 90 days after the expiration of his or her license if the physician's license is not timely renewed because of a clerical issue in the physician's renewal application. Effective immediately.
