Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Controlled Substances Act. Makes various changes relating to mid-level practitioner registration. Provides that a prescriber who is otherwise authorized to prescribe controlled substances in Illinois may issue an electronic prescription for Schedule II, III, IV, and V controlled substances if done in accordance with federal rules for electronic prescriptions for controlled substances. Provides that physicians may issue multiple prescriptions (3 sequential 30-day supplies) for the same Schedule II controlled substances authorizing up to a 90-day supply. Makes other changes.
