Bill Title: Amends the Property Tax Code. Provides that any taxing district may order the county clerk to abate any portion of its taxes, in any given year, on the essential business property that demonstrates financial hardship due to the restrictions on operations during the 2020 and 2021 tax year due to the Covid-19 public health emergency. Defines "essential business property". Effective immediately.
