Bill Title: Amends the State Records Act. Provides that all records under the Act, including legal records and emails, shall be retained for a minimum of 7 years. Provides that every public employee, State and local, shall receive record retention training to comply with the Act. Modifies the term "record" or "records" to include any medium that stores or transmits information generated or used by a public body. Amends the Local Records Act to make similar changes.
