AN ACT concerning government.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

represented in the General Assembly:

Section 5. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by | ||||
adding Section 11 as follows:

(5 ILCS 490/11 new) | ||||
Sec. 11. Italian-American Heritage Month. The month of | ||||
October of each year is designated as Italian-American | ||||
Heritage Month to be observed throughout the State as a month | ||||
to recognize the contributions and influence of Italians on | ||||
American history, achievement, culture, and innovation.
