Amends the Child Care Act of 1969. Makes a technical change in a Section concerning background investigations.

1 AN ACT concerning regulation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by
5 changing Section 4.4 as follows:
6 (225 ILCS 10/4.4) (from Ch. 23, par. 2214.4)
7 Sec. 4.4. For the the purposes of background investigations
8 authorized in this Act, "license applicant" means the operator
9 or person with direct responsibility for daily operation of the
10 facility to be licensed. In the case of facilities to be
11 operated in a family home, the Department may, by rule, require
12 that other adult residents of that home also authorize such
13 investigations.
