| 1 | AN ACT concerning employment.
| ||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
| ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 5. The Unemployment Insurance Act is amended by | ||||||
| 5 | adding Section 2208.1 as follows:
| ||||||
| 6 | (820 ILCS 405/2208.1 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 2208.1. Return receipts. Whenever any provision of | ||||||
| 8 | this Act requires service by certified or registered mail | ||||||
| 9 | either a paper return receipt issued by the United States | ||||||
| 10 | Postal Service or an electronic return receipt issued by the | ||||||
| 11 | United States Postal Service shall constitute proof of service.
