Bill Title: Amends the State Property Control Act. Provides that the Director of Central Management Services shall develop a written policy of expectations of care for employees with custody of State-owned vehicles, that the policy shall include stated consequences if an employee with custody of a State-owned vehicle does not meet the expectations of care set forth in the policy, and that the Department of Central Management Services shall enforce those consequences. Effective immediately.

Amends the State Property Control Act. 1 AN ACT concerning revenue.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The State Property Control Act is amended by
5adding Section 6.05 as follows:
6 (30 ILCS 605/6.05 new)
7 Sec. 6.05. Policy of care for a State-owned vehicle. The
8Director of Central Management Services shall develop a
9written policy of expectations of care for employees with
10custody of State-owned vehicles. This policy shall include
11stated consequences if an employee with custody of a
12State-owned vehicle does not meet the expectations of care set
13forth in the policy, and the Department of Central Management
14Services shall enforce those consequences.
15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
16becoming law.
