Amends the State Designations Act. Provides that the soybean is designated as the official State bean of the State of Illinois.

AN ACT concerning State government.
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
represented in the General Assembly:
Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding
Section 37 as follows:
(5 ILCS 460/37 new)
Sec. 37. Official State bean. The soybean is designated as
the official State bean of the State of Illinois.
