| 1 | AN ACT concerning education.
| ||||||
| 2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, | ||||||
| 3 | represented in the General Assembly:
| ||||||
| 4 | Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section | ||||||
| 5 | 19-3.15 as follows:
| ||||||
| 6 | (105 ILCS 5/19-3.15 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 19-3.15. School additions; Chaney-Monge School | ||||||
| 8 | District 88. Notwithstanding the requirements of any other | ||||||
| 9 | applicable law and without further referendum approval, | ||||||
| 10 | Chaney-Monge School District 88 is authorized to issue bonds in | ||||||
| 11 | not to exceed the amount of $3,000,000 to provide for the | ||||||
| 12 | improvement, alteration, and repair of schoolhouses and to fund | ||||||
| 13 | the local share as required for a Capital Development Board | ||||||
| 14 | school construction grant to fund school additions and | ||||||
| 15 | associated construction and equipment with respect to which a | ||||||
| 16 | referendum was passed on March 18, 2014.

| 17 | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon | ||||||
| 18 | becoming law.
