AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4080
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4080, AS AMENDED,
with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
1, on page 1, line 4, by changing "Court of Claims Act" to
"Code of Civil Procedure"; and
on page 1, line 5, by changing "Section 8" to "Section 2-702";
and
on page 1, by deleting lines 6 through 16; and
by deleting pages 2 through 4; and
on page 5, by deleting lines 1 through 13; and
on page 8, by replacing lines 25 and 26 with the following:
"(4) the petitioner did not by his or her own conduct

voluntarily cause or bring about his or her conviction;
however, neither a confession nor admission later found to
be false constitutes bringing about his or her own
conviction under this Section by his or her own conduct
voluntarily cause or bring about his or her conviction.";

on page 9, by deleting lines 1 through 5.
