1 AN ACT concerning courts.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Associate Judges Act is amended by adding
5Section 2.6 as follows:
6 (705 ILCS 45/2.6 new)
7 Sec. 2.6. Additional associate judges; 5th circuit. In
8addition to the number of associate judges authorized under
9Sections 2 and 2.1 of this Act, there shall be 3 additional
10associate judges appointed in the 5th circuit.
