1 | AN ACT concerning courts.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Associate Judges Act is amended by adding | |||||||||||||||||||
5 | Section 2.6 as follows:

6 | (705 ILCS 45/2.6 new) | |||||||||||||||||||
7 | Sec. 2.6. Additional associate judges; 5th circuit. In | |||||||||||||||||||
8 | addition to the number of associate judges authorized under | |||||||||||||||||||
9 | Sections 2 and 2.1 of this Act, there shall be 3 additional | |||||||||||||||||||
10 | associate judges appointed in the 5th circuit.
