SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
410 ILCS 635/20 new

Amends the Grade A Pasteurized Milk and Milk Products Act to provide that by July 1, 2013, the Department of Public Health shall adopt rules to allow small businesses to comply with the provisions of the Act without requiring cost-prohibitive equipment. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT concerning public health.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Grade A Pasteurized Milk and Milk Products
5Act is amended by adding Section 20 as follows:
6 (410 ILCS 635/20 new)
7 Sec. 20. Cost-prohibitive equipment. By July 1, 2013, the
8Department shall adopt rules to allow small businesses to
9comply with the provisions of this Act without requiring
10cost-prohibitive equipment.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
12becoming law.
