Bill Title: Amends the Grade A Pasteurized Milk and Milk Products Act to provide that by July 1, 2013, the Department of Public Health shall adopt rules to allow small businesses to comply with the provisions of the Act without requiring cost-prohibitive equipment. Effective immediately.

2 | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

3 | represented in the General Assembly:

4 | Section 5. The Grade A Pasteurized Milk and Milk Products | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
5 | Act is amended by adding Section 20 as follows:

6 | (410 ILCS 635/20 new) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
7 | Sec. 20. Cost-prohibitive equipment. By July 1, 2013, the | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
8 | Department shall adopt rules to allow small businesses to | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
9 | comply with the provisions of this Act without requiring | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
10 | cost-prohibitive equipment.
