| ||||||
| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to recognize the Sports Unlimited club at | ||||||
| 4 | Moline High School on its work with special needs students; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Sports Unlimited was formed by Saneha Borisuth and | ||||||
| 6 | other students in order to connect special needs students with | ||||||
| 7 | a group of great Moline High
students; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Sports Unlimited is comprised of 90 student | ||||||
| 9 | volunteers that work to come up with fun, engaging activities
| ||||||
| 10 | for special needs students; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, The mission of Sports Unlimited is to help special | ||||||
| 12 | needs students feel more accepted by
implementing fun | ||||||
| 13 | activities in a safe environment; these students gain valuable | ||||||
| 14 | life-lessons
from each activity; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, The students that volunteer have
gained | ||||||
| 16 | measurable life-lessons by volunteering to help those in the | ||||||
| 17 | club; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 18 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 19 | NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | ||||||
| 20 | recognize Sports Unlimited on its work with special needs | ||||||

| 1 | student and wish it many more successful years; and be it | ||||||

| 3 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
