| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives wish to congratulate Mrs. Susanne Hoskins on | ||||||
| 4 | her retirement, on May 4, 2012, as a first and second grade | ||||||
| 5 | teacher at Dr. Katie Harper Wright Elementary School in East | ||||||
| 6 | St. Louis; and
| ||||||
| 7 | WHEREAS, Mrs. Hoskins serves as an example of a teacher who | ||||||
| 8 | highlighted the importance of education and made learning an | ||||||
| 9 | exciting, pleasant experience for her students and others; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, She excelled in her own studies and earned a B.S. | ||||||
| 11 | degree from Langston University in Oklahoma; she later received | ||||||
| 12 | a Master's degree from Webster University in St. Louis and | ||||||
| 13 | furthered her studies at Southern Illinois College with | ||||||
| 14 | additional certifications and skills; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, She has inspired thousands of students in East St. | ||||||
| 16 | Louis throughout her 41 years of teaching first and second | ||||||
| 17 | grade; and
| ||||||
| 18 | WHEREAS, She recognizes that teaching is one of the most | ||||||
| 19 | rewarding professions a person can have; she will always | ||||||
| 20 | cherish the lives she has touched and the impact her many | ||||||
| 21 | students have had on her own life; she is looking forward to | ||||||

| 1 | retirement and the rich experiences that await her outside the | ||||||
| 2 | classroom; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 3 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 4 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 5 | we congratulate Mrs. Susanne Hoskins on her retirement and wish | ||||||
| 6 | her all the best in her future endeavors; and be it further
| ||||||
| 7 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 8 | presented to Mrs. Susanne Hoskins as a symbol of our respect | ||||||
