| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | ||||||
| 3 | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the citizens of the | ||||||
| 4 | City of Mascoutah on the occasion of the city's 175th | ||||||
| 5 | anniversary; and
| ||||||
| 6 | WHEREAS, The City of Mascoutah was founded in May of 1837; | ||||||
| 7 | through the hard work and great dedication of its residents, | ||||||
| 8 | the city has grown throughout the last 175 years into a | ||||||
| 9 | thriving metropolis; and
| ||||||
| 10 | WHEREAS, The citizens of the City of Mascoutah serve as | ||||||
| 11 | models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people | ||||||
| 12 | of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it
| ||||||
| 13 | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | ||||||
| 14 | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | ||||||
| 15 | we congratulate the citizens of the City of Mascoutah on the | ||||||
| 16 | occasion of the city's 175th anniversary and wish them | ||||||
| 17 | continued success and happiness in the future; and be it | ||||||
| 18 | further

| 19 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 20 | presented to the City of Mascoutah as a symbol of our esteem | ||||||
| 21 | and respect.
