Bill Title: Amends the Probation and Probation Officers Act. Defines "transfer case" as any case where an adult or juvenile offender seeks to have supervision transferred from one county to another or from another state to a county in Illinois, and the transfer is approved by a judicial officer, a probation or court services department, or through an interstate compact.

2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1843 on page 7, by | ||||||
3 | inserting immediately below line 5 the following: | ||||||
4 | " If the transfer case originated in another state and has | ||||||
5 | been transferred under the Interstate Compact for Juveniles to | ||||||
6 | the jurisdiction of an Illinois circuit court for supervision | ||||||
7 | by an Illinois probation department, probation fees may be | ||||||
8 | imposed only if permitted by the Interstate Commission for | ||||||
9 | Juveniles. ".
