Bill Title: Amends the Illinois Income Tax Act and the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act. Provides that the time limitation period on the Department of Revenue's right to file a notice of lien shall not run during the term of a repayment plan that taxpayer has entered into with the Department, as long as taxpayer remains in compliance with the terms of the repayment plan. Effective immediately.

AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2378
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2378 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The Illinois Income Tax Act is amended by
5changing Section 101 as follows:
6 (35 ILCS 5/101) (from Ch. 120, par. 1-101)
7 Sec. 101. Short Title. This Act shall be known and and may
8be cited as the "Illinois Income Tax Act."
