Bill Title: Amends the Department of State Police Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Changes the name of the Illinois State Police Projects Trust Fund to the Illinois State Police Federal Projects Trust Fund. Amends the State Finance Act. Adds the Illinois State Police Federal Projects Trust Fund and the State Police Motor Vehicle Theft Prevention Trust Fund to the list of funds in the State treasury. Effective immediately.

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 3621 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Department of State Police Law of the
Civil | ||||||
| 5 | Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by changing Section | ||||||
| 6 | 2605-407 as follows:

| 7 | (20 ILCS 2605/2605-407) | ||||||
| 8 | Sec. 2605-407. Illinois State Police Federal Projects | ||||||
| 9 | Trust Fund. The Illinois State Police Federal Projects Trust | ||||||
| 10 | Fund is established created as a federal trust fund in the | ||||||
| 11 | State treasury. This federal Trust Fund is established to | ||||||
| 12 | receive funds awarded to the Department of State Police from | ||||||
| 13 | the following: (i) all federal departments and agencies for the | ||||||
| 14 | specific purposes established by the terms and conditions of | ||||||
| 15 | the federal awards and (ii) federal pass-through grants from | ||||||
| 16 | State departments and agencies for the specific purposes | ||||||

| 1 | established by the terms and conditions of the grant | ||||||
| 2 | agreements. Any interest earnings that are attributable to | ||||||
| 3 | moneys in the federal trust fund must be deposited into the | ||||||
| 4 | Fund All interest earned by the investment or deposit of moneys | ||||||
| 5 | accumulated in the Trust Fund shall be deposited into the Trust | ||||||
| 6 | Fund.
