| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Victor M. Ordaz, who passed away on | ||||||
| 4 | September 6, 2015; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz was born on January 7, 1944 in | ||||||
| 6 | Zacatecas, Zacatecas, Mexico; his parents were Joseph Salvador | ||||||
| 7 | and Maura Cecilia (nee Sanchez) Ordaz; he and his family moved | ||||||
| 8 | to Chillicothe in 1957; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz served his country as a member of the | ||||||
| 10 | United States Marine Corps; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz retired from Caterpillar Inc. after | ||||||
| 12 | 35 years of dedicated service; and
| ||||||
| 13 | WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz was preceded in death by his father; | ||||||
| 14 | his brother, Robert; and his sister, Rebecca; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Victor Ordaz is survived by his children, Tanya | ||||||
| 16 | Ordaz, Noah S. Ordaz, and Leah C. Ordaz; his grandchildren, | ||||||
| 17 | David Adams, Justin Adams, and Taryn Adams; his | ||||||
| 18 | great-grandchildren, Maddux Fugitt and Ameillia R. Traver; his | ||||||
| 19 | brothers, Salvador, Henry, and William; and his sisters, Irene, | ||||||
| 20 | Sylvia, Ann, and Teresa; therefore, be it

| 1 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 2 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 3 | family and friends, mourn the passing of Victor M. Ordaz; and | ||||||
| 4 | be it further
| ||||||
| 5 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
