| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of United States Marine Corps Lance Corporal | ||||||
| 4 | Steven M. Hancock of Coal City; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Steven Hancock dedicated his life | ||||||
| 6 | to serving his country and passed away training to protect and | ||||||
| 7 | serve to the best of his abilities; and
| ||||||
| 8 | WHEREAS, Lance Corporal Steven Hancock's patriotism and | ||||||
| 9 | courage will be remembered fondly by his loving family, his | ||||||
| 10 | fellow soldiers, and the citizens of our grateful nation; | ||||||
| 11 | therefore, be it

| 12 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL | ||||||
| 13 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his | ||||||
| 14 | family and friends, mourn the passing of United States Marine | ||||||
| 15 | Corps Lance Corporal Steven M. Hancock; and be it further
| ||||||
| 16 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
| 17 | presented to the family of Lance Corporal Steven Hancock as an | ||||||
| 18 | expression of our sympathy.
