| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Larry R. Orton of Delavan, who passed | ||||||
| 4 | away on September 10, 2020; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Larry Orton was born to George W. and Mary Ellen | ||||||
| 6 | Westfall Orton on November 26, 1945; he graduated from Delavan | ||||||
| 7 | High School in 1963; he attended Western Illinois University; | ||||||
| 8 | he served in the U.S. Air National Guard; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Larry Orton worked for the Xerox Corporation in | ||||||
| 10 | Springfield from 1969 until his retirement in 2001; and
| ||||||
| 11 | WHEREAS, Larry Orton was preceded in death by his parents; | ||||||
| 12 | his brothers, William "Verl" Orton and Donald Orton; and his | ||||||
| 13 | granddaughter, Taylor; and
| ||||||
| 14 | WHEREAS, Larry Orton is survived by his children, Kerri | ||||||
| 15 | (Vince), Cory (Laurie), Brice (Jacki), and Tyler; his | ||||||
| 16 | grandchildren, Sebastian, Ethan, Chase, Harrison, and Jaxson; | ||||||
| 17 | his brothers, Charles (Georgeann) and Joe; his sister, Sue; his | ||||||
| 18 | several nieces and nephews; and his best friend and nephew, | ||||||
| 19 | Todd; therefore, be it

| 20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | ||||||

| 1 | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | ||||||
