2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
3 | learn of the death of Kenneth J. Giseburt of Moline, who passed | ||||||
4 | away on September 18, 2020; and
| ||||||
5 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Giseburt was born in Champaign to Paul | ||||||
6 | Giseburt and Bertha (Koritz) Giseburt on August 20, 1933; he | ||||||
7 | served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the 1950s; he married | ||||||
8 | Johanna E. Seeliger in Loda on January 31, 1959; he earned his | ||||||
9 | bachelor's degree from Illinois State University; he earned his | ||||||
10 | master's degree in education from the University of Illinois; | ||||||
11 | and
| ||||||
12 | WHEREAS, After over 20 years of service, Kenneth Giseburt | ||||||
13 | retired from Holland Motor Express in Rock Island in the early | ||||||
14 | 1990s; and
| ||||||
15 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Giseburt was preceded in death by his | ||||||
16 | parents and one sister; and
| ||||||
17 | WHEREAS, Kenneth Giseburt is survived by his wife; his son, | ||||||
18 | James; his granddaughter, Amanda (Brandon) Carleton; and his | ||||||
19 | great-grandchild, Ellis; therefore, be it

20 | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL |
