Bill Title: Amends the Health Care Worker Background Check Act. Provides that the Act applies to persons licensed, certified, or registered by the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation under specified Acts. Provides that a felony conviction of specified offenses is a disqualifying offense and requires immediate review of the license, registration, or certification under those specified licensing Acts. Sets forth provisions concerning applicability of the changes made by the amendatory Act. Effective 6 months after becoming law.
