Summary

Enacts the Uniform Certificate of Title for Vessels Act, governing the application for and issuance of a title for certain vessels. Provides that the act applies to a vessel that is used principally on the waters of Indiana. Requires an owner, within 20 days of becoming an owner or within 20 days of when the vessel becomes used principally on the waters of Indiana, to apply for a certificate of title. Specifies that an application is not required for a federally documented vessel, a foreign documented vessel, a barge, a vessel under construction, or a vessel owned by a dealer. Repeals the existing law governing watercraft certificates of title.
