Summary
Additional revenue for bargaining teacher salary. Appropriates $75,000,000 from the state general fund to the department of education for distribution to eligible school corporations as revenue for bargaining additional salary increases for the 2020-2021 school year. Defines an eligible school corporation as a school corporation that under the school funding formula: (1) experienced a decrease in funding; or (2) received an increase in funding that was less than the rate of inflation; from the 2018-2019 school year as compared to the 2019-2020 school year.
