Summary

Prohibits the county office of the division of family resources from considering the value of any assets when determining an individual's eligibility for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program. Requires the division of family resources to: (1) implement within the federal Supplemental Nutritional Assistance program (SNAP) the expanded eligibility category that does not consider an individual's value of assets in determining SNAP eligibility; and (2) notify the United States Department of Agriculture of the implementation of the expanded categorical eligibility.
