Bill Sponsors: IN HB1362 | 2018 | Regular Session
Bill Title: Curriculum. Requires each: (1) school corporation; (2) charter school; and (3) accredited nonpublic school; to offer computer coding as a one semester elective course in its high school curriculum at least once every school year. Provides that the course may be offered through a course access program administered by the department of education. Requires that a computer coding course must be counted as fulfilling an elective or required world languages credit for a high school diploma unless the course counts as fulfilling another required credit for a high school diploma.
