Bill Title: Sale of school buildings. Provides that if: (1) two or more school corporations consolidate or reorganize; and (2) a school building becomes closed, unused, or unoccupied as a result of the consolidation or reorganization; the governing body of the consolidated or reorganized school corporation may request from the department of education (department) a waiver from the requirements for making the vacant school building available to a charter school before the school corporation may sell or exchange the building. Requires the department to grant the waiver if requested. Resolves conflicts between P.L.217-2017, P.L.241-2017, and P.L.244-2017.
