Summary

Create a new section of KRS Chapter 138 to establish a school transportation funding fee of $0.03 which shall be paid by dealers on each gallon of gasoline and special fuels; provide for exemptions; require that funds received shall be deposited in the fund to support education excellence in Kentucky; amend KRS 157.330 to specify that funds received from the fee shall be calculated and distributed under the provisions of KRS 157.370; EFFECTIVE August 1, 2018.
