Summary
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 6 to establish a school fiscal impact statement to evaluate the potential costs that would be incurred by school districts and other parts of the common school system by passing certain legislation; establish the requirements and components of the statement; authorize the director of the Legislative Research Commission to implement policies and procedures necessary to produce the statements; EFFECTIVE January 1, 2025.
