Summary

Create a new section of KRS Chapter 438 to require owners of nonprofessional baseball or softball fields to erect chain-link fencing in front of the dugout or area where players congregate; define minimal requirements for fencing and the ball fields to which the requirement applies; establish that a first violation is punishable by a fine of no less than $500 and no more than $1,000 and any subsequent violation is punishable by a fine of no less than $750 and no more than $1,500.
