Summary
Establish KRS Chapter 417A and create new sections thereof to establish; create within that chapter various new sections establishing a confidential, mandatory, medical malpractice mediation system to be completed prior to malpractice litigation, including sections setting out definitions, delineating covered health care facilities and providers, providing for mediator selection, and reporting on mediation results; EFFECTIVE July 1, 2017.
