Summary
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 7 to authorize the Legislative Research Commission to request that the Attorney General provide an opinion on the constitutionality of an executive order issued by the President of the United States; authorize the Attorney General or Legislative Research Commission to seek to have the executive order declared unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction; prohibit any state agency, political subdivision, or any elected or appointed official from implementing an executive order by the President of the United States that restricts a person's rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution or Constitution of Kentucky; amend KRS 15.025 to conform.
