Summary

Create new sections of KRS Chapter 157 to establish the Individualized Education Accounts Program and the Individualized Education Accounts trust fund; define eligibility of students, schools, providers, and qualified expenses for the program; direct the State Treasury to administer the program; direct the Kentucky Department of Education to transfer the state portion of SEEK funds on behalf of each eligible student to the State Treasury on the student's behalf; require each parent to enter into an agreement with the State Treasury to participate in the program; describe the responsibilities of the State Treasury, resident school district, Kentucky Department of Education, participating schools, and parents; APPROPRIATION.
