Summary
Create a new section of KRS Chapter 189 to prohibit smoking in a motor vehicle containing a child who is subject to the child restraint system or booster seat provisions of KRS 189.125; amend KRS 189.990 to establish penalties effective January 1, 2016; set the fine for violation at $50 for the first offense and $100 for each subsequent offense; provide for a probationary period ending January 1, 2016, during which courtesy warnings will be issued.
