_______________
An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Geraldine Egan, an
employee of the Department of Public Health.
Be
it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled,
and by the authority of the same, as follows:
Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to immediately establish a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the Department of Public Health, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Notwithstanding any general or special law, rule or regulation to the contrary, the Department of Public Health shall establish a sick leave bank for Geraldine Egan, an employee of the Department of Public Health. Any employee of the Department of Public Health may voluntarily contribute 1 or more sick, personal or vacation days to the leave bank for use by Geraldine Egan. Whenever Geraldine Egan terminates employment with the Department of Public Health or requests to dissolve the sick leave bank, the balance of sick leave shall be transferred to the Department of Public Health paid leave bank.
