Summary

Requiring a police officer to issue a safety equipment repair order if the police officer observes a motor vehicle being driven with an unlawful modified exhaust system or noise abatement device; altering the penalties for driving a motor vehicle on a highway with an exhaust system or noise abatement device that is modified in a certain manner; and requiring the Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program to test the exhaust sound level of a motor vehicle at an emissions inspection.
