Summary

Establishing the Office of Resilience in the Maryland Emergency Management Agency to be responsible for guiding State resilience initiatives, leveraging federal and private emergency response funding resources, and building partnerships with public, private, and non-governmental organizations in all stages of emergency planning and management; providing for the duties of the Office; and requiring the Maryland Department of the Environment to coordinate with the Office to administer the national flood insurance program.
