Summary
Establishing the Summer Sports Program to provide funding to county boards to establish programs to provide students with opportunities during the summer for physical activity and sports at public schools that have adequate facilities; requiring the Governor to include in the annual budget bill an appropriation of $700,000 annually to the Program; requiring each county to provide $300,000 annually for the Program; and directing the State Department of Education to direct funding for the Program to county boards; etc.
