A bill to amend 1967 PA 119, entitled
"An act to regulate the sale, distribution, and use of certain
chemical agents and devices containing certain chemical agents; and
to provide penalties,"
(MCL 752.271 to 752.273) by amending the title, as amended by 2000
PA 299, and by adding section 2b.
THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:
TITLE
An act to regulate the sale, distribution, and use of certain
chemical
agents and devices containing certain chemical agents; and
to
provide penalties.to
prescribe powers and duties of certain
state agencies and officials; and to prescribe penalties and
provide remedies.
Sec. 2b. The attorney general or a prosecuting attorney for
the county in which the violation occurred may bring an action to
recover a civil fine under section 2a.
Enacting section 1. This amendatory act takes effect 90 days
after the date it is enacted into law.
Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect
unless Senate Bill No. ____ or House Bill No. 5463 (request no.
03922'17) of the 99th Legislature is enacted into law.
