HOUSE BILL No. 5841

 

 

September 8, 2016, Introduced by Reps. Potvin, Callton, Goike, Rendon and Franz and referred to the Committee on Appropriations.

 

     A bill to authorize the state administrative board to transfer

 

property in Grand Traverse County.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 1. The state administrative board may transfer, without

 

consideration from the department of corrections to the department

 

of military and veterans affairs, property located in Grand

 

Traverse County and described as follows:

 

     Township of Fife Lake, Town 25 North, Range 09 West, Section

 

20.

 

     The West one—half (W ½) of the Southwest one—quarter (SW ¼),

 

the Northeast one—quarter (NE ¼) of the Southwest one—quarter (SW

 

¼), and the West one—half (W ½) of the Southwest one—quarter (SW ¼)

 

of the Southeast one—quarter (SE ¼)

 

     SUBJECT TO the right—of—way of Walton Road over the Southerly

 

33 feet thereof.

 

     ALSO SUBJECT TO all agreements, covenants, easements,

 

right—of—ways, reservations and restrictions of record, if any.

 

     Sec. 2. The transfer authorized by this act is effective when

 

approved by a resolution of the state administrative board.
