SENATE BILL No. 85

 

 

January 30, 2013, Introduced by Senators PAPPAGEORGE and KAHN and referred to the Committee on Appropriations.

 

 

 

     A bill to repeal 2000 PA 403, entitled

 

"Motor fuel tax act,"

 

(MCL 207.1001 to 207.1170).

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Enacting section 1. The motor fuel tax act, 2000 PA 403, MCL

 

207.1001 to 207.1170, is repealed effective October 1, 2013.

 

     Enacting section 2. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

unless Senate Joint Resolution J                                 

 

                         of the 97th Legislature becomes a part of

 

the state constitution of 1963 as provided in section 1 of article

 

XII of the state constitution of 1963.
