SENATE BILL No. 697

 

 

November 14, 2013, Introduced by Senators CASPERSON, SMITH, YOUNG, ANANICH, MOOLENAAR and RICHARDVILLE and referred to the Committee on Transportation.

 

 

 

     A bill to amend 1893 PA 206, entitled

 

"The general property tax act,"

 

(MCL 211.1 to 211.155) by adding section 7tt.

 

THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN ENACT:

 

     Sec. 7tt. This act does not apply to real or personal property

 

owned by a nonprofit street railway.

 

     Enacting section 1. This amendatory act does not take effect

 

unless Senate Bill No.696                                      

 

          of the 97th Legislature is enacted into law.
